About Air Entrainment Meter
The
Air Entrainment Meter has been fabricated in accordance with IS: 1199. We are one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of the Air Entrainment Meter. This unit used for the determination of air content of freshly made concrete. It comprises of a pressure tight flanged cylindrical measuring bowl, attached with a conical cover assembly having a seal in-between and changeable flanged. The conical cover consists an air valve and a pet cock ideal for bleeding-off the water. A graduated cylindrical stand pipe is fixed on the conical cover assembly. Needed pressure is put to the specimen by the help of a pressure bulb. The complete assembly is mounted on a flat base.
Capacities Available : - 0.005 cubic meter

Exceptional Measurement Accuracy and CapacityThe Air Entrainment Meter ensures highly precise results with gauge resolution in 0.1% increments and an accuracy of 0.25% air content. With a measuring range from 0% to 10% and model capacities of 6 or 8 litres, it adapts to a broad spectrum of testing requirements in construction or laboratory settings.
Robust Build for Challenging EnvironmentsEngineered using mild steel and stainless steel, and finished with powder coating, the meter withstands rugged use and environmental challenges. Its corrosion resistance and portability make it ideal for use on construction sites and in laboratories, operating efficiently between 5C to 45C.
Comprehensive Accessories IncludedEach Air Entrainment Meter comes with a calibration vessel, tamping rod, straight edge, and rubber mallet, streamlining the testing process. These accessories ensure accurate preparation and measurement of concrete samples, supporting consistent results across projects.
FAQs of Air Entrainment Meter:
Q: How does the Air Entrainment Meter measure air content in concrete?
A: This meter utilizes manual gauge technology to determine the percentage of entrained air in fresh concrete. The testing process involves using the supplied calibration vessel and tamping rod to prepare the sample, then manually pressurizing the system to obtain a very precise reading, thanks to the 0.1% gauge resolution.
Q: What environments can the Air Entrainment Meter be used in?
A: The device is designed for versatile usage and functions reliably in both indoor and outdoor settings, including construction sites and laboratories, within a temperature range of 5C to 45C.
Q: When should air content in concrete be tested?
A: Air content measurement should be conducted immediately after mixing and before concrete placement. Early testing ensures compliance with engineering standards and helps to prevent future structural issues by verifying the correct amount of air in the mix.
Q: Where can this Air Entrainment Meter be applied?
A: This instrument is suitable for processes in construction and civil engineering applications, especially where fresh concrete quality control is essential. Typical use cases include laboratory research, on-site testing, and materials inspection for infrastructure projects.
Q: What is the process for operating the Air Entrainment Meter?
A: To operate the meter, fill it with fresh concrete, use the supplied tamping rod to compact the sample, and follow the air measurement procedure using the calibration vessel and manual gauge. The system is pressurized manually, and the air content is read directly from the gauge, which features increments of 0.1%.
Q: What benefits does this meter provide to users and projects?
A: Users benefit from accurate and reliable air content measurements, supporting quality assurance in construction. The meters portability, durability, and ease of operation lead to efficient testing workflows, reducing downtime and improving overall structural performance.
